Many roads lead to the Southern Wine Route. No matter if you come by car or camper, or if you prefer to take the train and use the convenient rail connections; we always welcome you to the Southern Wine Route warmly in every season and for every occasion.
From North
If you come from Mannheim, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hannover, Berlin or Erfurt, then you should take the left route A 61 at Mainz until A 65 towards Neustadt and Landau. Then you are already here in the Southern Wine Route.
From East
If you come from Heilbronn, Würzburg or Nürnberg, then follow the road A 6 till Walldorf and drive from Speyer to Landau. If you want to come together with the people coming from Stuttgart and Munich, you can meet them on the route A 5 and then take the highway A 65 from Karlsruhe to Landau.
From South
If you come from Freiburg, Basel or Strasbourg, then we advise you to cross the river Rhein at the latest in Baden-Baden. Take the French A 35 and drive through Bienwald towards the Southern Wine Route smoothly.
From West
If you come from Trier or Saarbrücken, then take the road B 10 at Zweibrücken. You will pass Pirmasens and the Palatinate Forest. When you arrive at Annweiler, you are already in the Southern Wine Route.

The Southern Wine Route is accessible from the ICE train stations Karlsruhe and Neustadt at the Wine Route and from the TGV train station Strassbourg. There are convenient railway connections with the Rhineland Palatinate Tact from these train stations to us.

2. Interconnection network Rhine Neckar (VRN)
The interconnection network Rhine Neckar covers more than 30 traffic companies in the federal states Rhineland Palatinate, Baden-Wuerttemberg and Hesse. All of them use the VRN rate.

3. Interconnection network Karlsruhe (KVV)
The rates of the interconnection network Karlsruhe are also for the Southern Wine Route, especially, if you want to make a day-trip to or from the Baden area.
