Klingbach cycle path
Dahn - Vorderweidenthal - Hördt (Length: ca. 62 km)
The cycle path Klingback leads you along the valley Klingbach to Rhein. Pedal north from Vorderweidenthal, through the forest towards Gossersweiler-Stein and by the castle ruin Lindelbrunn. Drive from Stein to Gossersweiler along the cycle path of the road L494, by the Catholic Church and to the Silzer Lake and to Silz. Here youll have a possibility to make a trip to the Wild and Wander Park. Then cruise along a well-built cycle path over Münchweiler and Klingbachhof to Klingenmünster (connection to the cycle path German Wine Route). Here youll leave the forest behind and drive further through the vineyards and along the brook Klingbach. Drive by an old train station in Klingen, continue along a railroad embankment, pedal over Appenhofen to Hammer smithy and to Ingenheim. Drive further over Billigheim and Rohrbach to Herxheim (connection to the cycle path South-Palatinate). Cruise along the street Nebenstraße and youll reach Herxheim, then pedal along a forest trail to Herxheim-weyher, by tobacco shelters to access road to Rülzheim. Cross the railroad and turn left, drive by the train station to the junction of L 540. Turn right towards the locality and shortly after that cross the road to Germersheim and drive further to east along Hubenweg to Hördt. Drive towards Germersheim ca. 500 m, cross a road and drive east through the forest until you reach the cycle path Rheinaue/Velo Route Rhin.
