From Rhine to Wine
Hainfeld - Speyer (Length: ca 32 km)
The route starts in Hainfeld. From here you go to Edesheim. In the junction of the L 507 and the B 38. First cross the railroad and after ca. 150 m turn right. Youll pass by Großfischlingen, which stays on the left hand side (there youll come across with the cycle path South-Palatinate). Drive straight on to Freimersheim. In the middle of the locality turn left. Cross the brook Modenbach, cruise by Gäuschule to the parting of the ways and turn right. Drive straight on (road 37) to Böbingen, through the locality and to the parting of the ways. Turn right, cross the L 530 and drive on the southern outskirts of Gommersheim to the street Raiffeisenstraße. Turn right and pedal to a closed chicken farm. Turn left and drive to the edge of the forest, turn left and shortly after that right. After 15,2km youll reach the L 538. Turn right and drive south, over the brook Modenbach and along a forest trail to Harthausen. In Harthausen turn left and drive along the K 26. Pedal on the outskirts of the locality ca 0,5 km and then turn right, cross the brook Speyerbach and drive to Dudenhofen. In the access road turn right to the street "Am Mönchsbusch". At the end of the street turn left (L 537) and drive straight on along the street Carl-Zimmermann-Straße. From the access road follow the cycle path ca 100 m, then the path bends right and shortly after that left. Drive by B 9/B 39 and along the brook Speyerbach on the street Holzstraße to Speyer. Pedal along the streets Schützenstraße and Mühlturmstraße to the square Postplatz. Then through an old porch and along the street Maximilianstraße to the Cathedral.
