Chapel route
Herxheim has 8 chapels and many meadow-high crucifixes. The sanctuaries and cult tokens show the religiousness of the town's forebears. You can hike or cycle on the marked routes from one chapel to the next. Maps are available in the Tourist Office of Herxheim.
